The Forest Rest House is located Near Govt. Degree College in the Heart of Kathua City of District Kathua at an altitude of 393 Meters above Mean Sea Level. The climate of the area is moderate to very hot summers and mild to cold in winters intercepted by the Monsoon. The Rest House is located in a Forest complex which has a nursery and dotted with trees of broad-leaf spp. Like Mango, Ashoka, Shisham, Terminelia, Teak, etc. The Rest House is RCC Structure established in the year 1990.
