The Rest House constructed during 1988-89 and is located at Gulabgarh, Paddar just on   the road side. This Rest House has importance as during Annual Machail Yatra, the Pilgrims/ Tourists prefer to stay in this Rest House. It has also an auspicious view being on the bank side of river Chenab surrounded by Nursery area. There is also famous Buddhist Gumpa near to this Rest House. The area is surrounded by Coniferous type of forests dominated by Kail, Deodar & Chilgoza pine trees and has temperate type of Climate.
