The Inspection Hut is located in the Dewal area of Billawar city of District Kathua at an altitude of 145 Meters above Mean Sea Level. The climate of the area is hot in summer and pleasant in winter. The Inspection Hut is surrounded by mixed forests eg, Chir pine Shisham, Eucalyptus and Ornamental plants like , Devils’ tree etc. The Inspection Hut was established in the year 2006-07.
